Design has always been about solving problems for me. What started with creating visuals for the likes of Disney, Sony, Universal studios, and others, gradually evolved into designing products that help people accomplish meaningful tasks. More than a decade later, I still enjoy taking complex ideas and turning them into experiences that feel simple, intuitive, and genuinely useful.
Over the years I've worked with startups, global brands, and AI-powered healthcare products, designing everything from brand identities to complex web and mobile applications.
I believe great products aren't created by chance - they're shaped by hundreds of thoughtful decisions. What is your experience working with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders?
Throughout my career, I've worked as part of cross-functional product teams and have also led smaller projects as a Project Manager. I regularly collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA, clinicians, and business stakeholders, aligning different perspectives to move projects forward.
A big part of my role is bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation - transforming ambiguous requirements into clear, actionable designs that teams can confidently build and deliver.

What is your experience working with remote teams accross different time zones?
I've been working remotely for several years as part of globally distributed product teams, collaborating with colleagues across Europe, United States, and Asia. My day-to-day work involves close communication with product managers, engineers, QA, clinicians, and business stakeholders, often spread across multiple time zones.
Working asynchronously has become second nature to me. I make a point of documenting decisions clearly, communicating proactively, and keeping everyone aligned through tools like Figma, Slack, and Jira, and regular design reviews. This approach helps reduce unnecessary meetings while ensuring projects continue moving forward regardless of time zone differences.

Where are you based, and what time zones do you support?
I split my time between Zagreb, Croatia (EU) and Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, operating in the Central European Time (CET/CEST) zone. My schedule aligns naturally with teams across Europe and provides several hours of overlap with the U.S. East Coast, enabling efficient collaboration across international teams.

Have you worked on AI-powered products before?
Yes. I've spent more than three and a half years designing AI-powered healthtech products, creating experiences for both clinicians and consumers. I've also consulted on an AI-powered fashion fitting app that helps users find the right fit online, and mentored the designer of an AI-powered language learning platform, contributing to its product and UX direction.

How do you conduct design handoff and guarantee implementation quality?
Design handoff begins with feature review sessions, where I walk the team through the feature, user flows, interactions, and expected behaviors before work is broken down into actionable development tickets.
Throughout implementation, I work closely with both developers and QA, providing clarification, reviewing progress, and resolving any design questions. Before release, I perform final acceptance testing to ensure the implemented solution meets both the design intent and quality standards before it reaches production.
